I clicked on to my favorite blogs this afternoon to find that I was given an art blog award from Kathleen Coy http://kathleen-coy.blogspot.com/. Thank you so much Kathleen, I'm thrilled you love my Ravens! Your own work inspires me, especially the animal paintings, I love them!So I am supposed to list seven things that I love, then pass the award on. So here in no special order are seven things that I love:
1. Nature. It's the very depth of my soul. I love nothing more than to walk, all kinds of weather, just the opportunity to honor Mother Nature and the beauty that surrounds us in the ever changing seasons. Love the sky with beautiful clouds, animals and all wildlife.
2. Art-starting with the glimmer of an idea to the translation to paper or canvas. Some of my best ideas come in the minutes before sleep overcomes me! I would love to be able to devote more time to my art!
3. I love reading books of all kinds! I love how a good book can take a hold of me and I can't wait to continue reading the next chapter. Love how some authors can grab a hold of you and make you want to read everything else they have written.
4. I love my Husband, family and friends, those close and those far away. Not a day goes by that I don't think of you and those who have passed on before us!
5. Love my pets-from my present 5 cats to all those that graced me with their presence and love in the past. Their love lives on in my memories.
6. Music is very important to me. From the haunting melody's of Celtic, New Age, classic rock n' roll, and classical-anything that touches my heart and soul.
7. Good sushi, good wine, good scotch, good chocolate and good hot tea. That about covers it!
Now I am to present the award to 7 of my favorite art blogs. So hard to choose! I love so many and several have already been awarded!

I have never considered myself a good writer! My sister is, never been my strong point. But I think everyone has a story to tell. We may think we are boring because we live in our skin, but others don't!
