A Beautiful Doe

I keeping track of the Does, Fawns and Bucks that frequent our backyard you become very familiar with them and can pick out them out in a crowd. Like humans, each have their own personality and each is different in their looks.
This Doe is a beauty. She has frequented our backyard for several years, this past year with her bratty offspring that spent much time in the front yard eating under the feeders and drinking out of the bird water :) I spent a lot of time chasing them out of the front. You can see one of her offspring looking over her back.
The following photos are all of her and last year's fawns.

Hoping she has a long life and avoids the hunters.

They are awesome! And you are absolutely right, they do have their own personalities and looks :)

Good looking herd, Gail. Looks like momma's got another muffin or two in the oven also.

I have a love/hate relationship with the deer. They are beautiful gentle creatures and I love seeing them and don't mind them in the yard, but I hate it when they decide to eat those things I worked so hard to grow. I guess you can't have one without the other.
I love that yours return so regularly that you can keep track of families. Not the case here. Their visits are sporadic.
Great shots, Gail.

Thank you Leola!

Sandy, she had triplets the year before.

Audrey, we are part of the wildlife preserve and I document the wildlife in our area. Plus we have the deer feeders and food provided. We don't plant anything that isn't liked by deer, have more of a problem with the rabbits and skunks.

Deb, you are so kind! I wouldn't know where to begin on selling photos, ebay or otherwise.

Thank you Stacy. I hope she has a long life. She's been living in our woods for some time.
