A Horde of Wet Turkeys

Our unusually wet winter has been hard on man, beast and fowl. During our last downpour I looked out in our backyard and it was covered with Turkeys trying to find some food.

Most of these are last year's babies.

It really has been a wet, depressing winter! We are hopefully getting a much needed dry spell. I walk in the yard and water is standing everywhere.

Oh, Gail, that's a lot of turkeys!!!
I'm sorry for all the rain you've had. We've had a very mild winter ~ not much rain, no snow, mild temperatures. I am ready for some green ~ enough of this brown/grey landscape. The robins are ready, too. They are out and about in my front yard this morning.

It's mostly been rain and mild temps. Not good for the summer. Looks to be buggy :(

Wow, that's a lot of turkeys my friend! So cool! We see them on the side road, in certain areas, when we go on road trips! I love seeing them! Have a great day!

We are overrun with Turkeys! They'll roost sometimes in the treetops of our back yard and you will literally have Turkeys falling from the sky. They will just drift to the ground. Really cool to see.
